5-Year Paint Warranty

What this warranty covers

Best Deal Auto Body Shop ("Best Deal") warrants that a complete paint job it performs will be free from the following defects for five (5) years from the delivery date shown on your final invoice, for as long as you own the vehicle:

Peeling, flaking or delamination of the paint or clear coat applied by Best Deal. Blistering or bubbling of the paint applied by Best Deal. Excessive fading, chalking or loss of gloss beyond what is normal for the paint product on your invoice. Cracking or checking of the finish. Defects in workmanship such as runs, sags, dirt in the finish or an uneven color match identified at delivery or within 30 days.

If a covered defect appears, Best Deal will re-prepare and refinish the affected panel or area at no charge for labor or materials. Repair of the defect, at Best Deal's shop, is the sole remedy under this warranty.

What this warranty does not cover

Damage from collision, impact, stone chips, scratches, vandalism, keying, fire, flood, hail or any other accident or act of nature. Damage from chemicals, industrial fallout, bird droppings, tree sap, road tar, salt, acid rain, fuel spills or harsh cleaners. Damage from automatic car washes with brushes, pressure washing at close range, abrasive polishes, or wax or coatings applied within 60 days of delivery. Rust, corrosion or bubbling that originates in the metal underneath, including rust that was present, treated or cut out before painting, unless the invoice lists new replacement metal for that area. Previous paint, body filler or repairs performed by another shop that fail underneath Best Deal's work. Plastic, rubber, chrome and flexible trim, headlights, wheels, and any part that was not painted by Best Deal. Color fading of Economy-level paint products beyond year two; the Economy level carries a 2-year warranty against peeling and workmanship only. Normal wear, including minor swirl marks from washing. Vehicles used commercially (rideshare, delivery, fleet) are covered for two (2) years instead of five.

Your responsibilities

Hand wash only for the first 30 days after delivery. No wax, sealant or ceramic coating for 60 days. Keep the vehicle out of automatic brush car washes for 90 days. Rinse off bird droppings, sap and chemical spills promptly. Keep your final invoice; it is your proof of coverage.

How to make a claim

Call (602) 754-8315 or email bestdealautobodyshop@gmail.com with your name, the vehicle, your invoice number and photos of the problem. Bring the vehicle to Best Deal at 5511 N 51st Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301 for inspection within 30 days of noticing the defect. Best Deal inspects the finish, confirms whether the defect is covered, and schedules the correction. Warranty work is performed at Best Deal only; Best Deal does not reimburse work done elsewhere. Towing, rental and loaner cars are not included with warranty work unless agreed in writing.

Other terms

This warranty is given to the vehicle owner named on the invoice. It is not transferable when the vehicle is sold. This warranty is in place of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by Arizona law. Best Deal is not liable for incidental or consequential damages such as loss of use, lost income or diminished value. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state. Repairs on insurance claims may also be covered by your insurer's own guarantee; this warranty applies in addition to it. Best Deal may update these terms for future repairs; the version in effect on your delivery date governs your vehicle.
