Loaner Cars

A collision repair takes days, sometimes weeks when insurance is slow. You still have to get to work. Ask for a loaner when you check in and leave in it the same day you drop off.

What it involves

Rental cars mean a second counter, a second deposit, and a daily rate that keeps running while your claim sits with an adjuster. Our loaners are at the shop: hand us your keys, take ours. If the other driver was at fault, their insurance often covers a loaner or rental; we help you ask for it.

Loaners are first come, first served, so tell us you want one when you check in online and we'll have it ready on your drop-off day. Bring your driver's license and proof of insurance.

Signs you need it

  • You need a car for work, school or the kids while yours is in the shop
  • The at-fault driver's insurance owes you transportation and you don't want to fight the rental counter
  • Your policy has no rental coverage and you don't want a $50-a-day surprise
  • You'd rather not deal with a second business during an already stressful week

Common questions

How much is a loaner car?

$35 a day, usually far less than a rental, and often paid by the at-fault driver's insurance. Ask at check-in and we'll tell you where you stand.

Do I need my own insurance to drive a loaner?

Yes. Bring your driver's license and your current insurance card. Your policy follows you into the loaner.

Can I reserve a loaner before I drop off?

Yes. Check the loaner box on the online check-in and we'll set one aside for your drop-off day.

Deductible assistance

Don't let the deductible hold up the repair.

For many drivers the deductible is the hardest part of an accident. Ask about deductible assistance: on qualifying repairs we can reduce what you pay out of pocket by up to $1,000, and you see the exact amount in writing before work starts.

Assistance is a discount on our side of the repair. We never inflate an estimate or bill your insurer for your deductible. Eligibility depends on the repair and your policy.

  1. Tell us your deductibleShare the collision or comprehensive deductible on your policy.
  2. We review the repairOnce the estimate is approved, we see what we can take off.
  3. You get it in writingYour out-of-pocket amount is on paper before we start.

Send a few photos. We'll take it from there.

Upload pictures of the damage for a preliminary price range, or call and talk to someone at the shop.
