Auto Body Repair

Not every damaged panel needs to be replaced. When metal can be straightened and finished properly, repairing it keeps factory seams and corrosion protection intact and often costs less.

What it involves

We look at each panel and tell you which way we recommend and why: repair when the metal and its edges are sound, replace when the panel is stretched, torn or structural. You see that decision on the estimate before anything is cut.

Replaced panels are fitted to the gaps of the panels around them, sealed, corrosion-protected and refinished so the line of the car stays straight from front to back.

Signs you need it

  • Dents with creased or stretched metal
  • A door or fender that sits out of line with the panel next to it
  • Cracked paint or rust starting at a dent
  • Quarter-panel damage after a backing or parking-lot hit

Common questions

Is it cheaper to repair a panel or replace it?

Often repair is cheaper on small and medium dents. On heavy damage a new or recycled panel can cost less than hours of metal work. We price both when it is close.

Will the repaired panel match the rest of the car?

Yes. We refinish to your paint code and blend into the panels next to it so the repair does not stand out.

Deductible assistance

Don't let the deductible hold up the repair.

For many drivers the deductible is the hardest part of an accident. Ask about deductible assistance: on qualifying repairs we can reduce what you pay out of pocket by up to $1,000, and you see the exact amount in writing before work starts.

Assistance is a discount on our side of the repair. We never inflate an estimate or bill your insurer for your deductible. Eligibility depends on the repair and your policy.

  1. Tell us your deductibleShare the collision or comprehensive deductible on your policy.
  2. We review the repairOnce the estimate is approved, we see what we can take off.
  3. You get it in writingYour out-of-pocket amount is on paper before we start.

Send a few photos. We'll take it from there.
